Meta description: Compare a LIVTAB smart coffee table with a compact mini fridge by capacity, layout, power use, features, and price.
A cold drink near the couch sounds simple. The setup behind it can be very different. One option adds a compact refrigerator beside your seating area. The other builds refrigerated storage into the coffee table already at the center of the room.
This comparison uses the LIVTAB LT90 Pro and the Frigidxxx EFR197-BLACK 1.6 Cu. Ft. Retro Compact Refrigerator. The mini fridge provides a familiar compact-storage baseline. The smart coffee table is designed around how a living room is actually used: drinks, snacks, phones, music, and the tabletop in front of the sofa.
What each one does
The compact refrigerator is a separate appliance. It has 1.6 cu. ft. of storage, a wire shelf, a 2L door basket, a chiller compartment, and an ice cube tray. It measures 17 19/20 inches wide, 18 9/10 inches deep, and 19 4/5 inches high.
The LT90 Pro is a coffee table with 93 L of refrigerated storage built in. Its 65 L and 28 L compartments can be set independently: 37-46 F on the left and 43-61 F on the right. It also has 15W wireless charging, USB-A and USB-C ports, 20W Bluetooth 5.0 audio, RGB lighting, and a touch control panel.

Why the coffee-table format changes the room
A separate refrigerator gives you cold storage, but it needs its own spot. You still need a coffee table for drinks, remotes, and everyday living-room use.
The LT90 Pro uses the space where a coffee table would normally sit. Its refrigerated drawers are close to the sofa, while the glass top remains available for cups, snacks, books, and controllers. The result is one central piece of furniture instead of a table plus another appliance on the floor.
The two compartments are also useful when different items need different settings. Drinks can stay in one zone while fruit, snacks, or other chilled items sit in the other. The right compartment reaches 43-61 F, which gives the table a broader range than a single fixed storage area.
More than refrigerated storage
The practical difference is not limited to the drawers. The LT90 Pro keeps several common living-room functions together.
A phone can charge on the 15W wireless charging pad. USB-A and USB-C ports are available when you need a cable. The built-in 20W Bluetooth 5.0 audio can handle music, movies, or gaming without placing a separate speaker on the table. RGB lighting and touch controls are built into the same unit.
The mini fridge keeps its role simple: it stores chilled items. Its wire shelf, 2L door basket, chiller compartment, ice cube tray, bottle opener, and reversible door are useful features for a compact refrigerator. It does not replace the table in front of the couch, provide charging, or add audio.
Energy use
LIVTAB lists daily power consumption for the LT90 Pro at 0.35 kWh. Based on that published daily figure, its estimated annual use is about 127.8 kWh.
The compact refrigerator's official product page does not list daily or annual energy use, noise level, or a temperature range. Those values should remain unlisted unless the manufacturer publishes an official figure for this exact model.
Which setup fits better?
Choose a compact refrigerator when you only need a small, separate place to chill drinks and snacks. Its smaller body may suit a dorm room, bedroom, office, or a corner of a living room.
Choose the LT90 Pro when the coffee table is already the center of your seating area and you want refrigeration there. It combines 93 L of split refrigerated storage with charging, audio, lighting, controls, and a usable tabletop.
